Their large size makes them ideal for domestic use, central supply of the house, lengthening their replacement time compared to the corresponding small size filters. They are usually used as the first stage of filtration before carbon filters in filter banks or before water softeners and by removing suspended solids they increase the life of subsequent filters.
They are available in a wide variety of sizes and micron ratings and fit most commercial water filter housings depending on their dimensions. They are also distinguished according to the filtration pore (micron), i.e. the size of the particles we want to remove from the water. The smaller the filter pore, the better the water is filtered.
